We have quite a few ducks wandering around. One guy was even standing inside the roped off "protected area" for the nesting terns and skimmers. Smart, lol.

Yikes.........my Volvo had to go in for its "big" 60,000 mile service and I knew it would have a big price tag attached. Yeah, *gulp* like $1300!!!!! Was to be *only* $800, but I needed rear brake pads, too......so there came another $400 plus change. At least I had a nice "borrowed" car to tool around town in..............

Incoming Storm

One of the cool things about living by the water is the amazing views we get as a storm approaches. The gulf here is so light since it was still receiving sun......but what a contrast with the darkened sky. I'll have to learn about the proper exposure for this........
