Hard Rock Casino Restroom

As we headed back to the west coast of Florida after our long weekend in Boca Raton, we dropped my hubby's son off at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (same place where Anna Nicole Smith died) since his flight wasn't until the early evening and he LOVES poker. So we puttered around and had lunch by the pool...............and I got this photo just as we were leaving........

Starting a School Project

My son is doing a project on Thurgood Marshall. The written parts have already been done, but today it was time to spray paint the box he'll be using for his display. The smell was nasty, even outdoors.......you can see how he is trying not to breathe anything in.

Bundled Up for School

It was sooooo cold this morning, only 39 degrees as we took off for school. Only reached mid-50's today, but will start warming back up tomorrow after another very cold start. Then the weekend will be in the 70's.........talk about c r a z y weather!

My nonfat iced chai latte and Diet Coke............usually the Diet Coke just sits in my car or at my computer desk until the ice all melts and I ultimately dump the rest out. Rinse out the Circle K cup each day and return the next day for a "refill."

Sweets for Teachers

Our 4-6 grade teachers meet twice a month and enjoy a snack brought in by a parent. Today was the day I had signed up for at the beginning of the school year, and I picked up some marvelous treats from a very popular bakery.......this close-up doesn't show most of them, but trust me, they looked sooooooo good (and I don't even care for sweets, LOL).

Whitened Teeth

Went to the dentist today and was there for almost three hours during the whitening procedure. Lots of prep work, and it wasn't a pleasant procedure by any means. Well, I'm happy with the results!
