New York Corn Makes it's Way to FloridaThis does have a story behind it. Every August and September, my husband stops at the farm stand near the airport in Upstate NY and buys corn before he heads back home here to Florida (his office is in NY and he commutes every other week). We look forward to it every year....but we were bummed out by this first batch - it wasn't very sweet! I don't know if it has to do with the *mostly* crappy summer the Northeast had. We'll give it a try on his next commute.
